[Korra enjoys feeling taken care of. Or perhaps it's more accurate to say coddled, because she has plenty of people who take care of her. Pema is always happy to watch Mai so Korra can get some sleep, and Asami never fails to bring dinner when Korra doesn't have the energy to cook. Korra appreciates those gestures and the love they demonstrate. Yet those are favors; they don't make her feel treasured in the same way that being dried, cuddled, and carried does. (If he really treasured her, he wouldn't have left her ... but she doesn't let herself think about that.)
