Hei's discomfort is palpable, and while normally she's able to take it with some measure of grace, this is the kind of visit that would be stressful even with a happy, invested partner. She's irritated with Hei for making a happy event so emotionally fraught; she's irritated with the doctor for upsetting him, and bringing up issues she doesn't want to talk about, and for doing things differently than Master Katara or any of the other healers she's seen would have done them.
